yes anouther wolf lord lol.this one is cool i gave him a magnetic arm and he has a cool shield i got from scibor's mini's.probably wont keep this one but it was a simple build that looks pretty cool.he can have the axe,bolter or plasma pistol.he also has a base i made myself from resin.

just some new stuff ive been working on.arm pads are a resin pad i sculpted and casted.the base too.

my way to make blood.

hey gang,

ive been trying some new ways to make a real blood look.i think im close and this is how i did it.

(1)i took a drop of gw scab re.watered it down and painted a point of were the blood would stop.

like as far as i want blood to go on blade.

(2)next i too that scab red same drop and added some white glue.i tryed to use a glue that would

dry quick and look a little lumpy.i dabbed it below the ending spot of my first step.so dont do the

hole shaded pert.more at the tip of blade.

(3)next i add a little drop of brown ink.i used vallejo smoke70939.add that to your scab red from step 1 and 2.blotch it around close to tip of blad and middle.

(4)now i took a little of the dryed glue from the top of bottle (around rim)and glued them to tip of blade with a watered down glue all over the painted parts(blood part).

(5)now i take a drop of blood red(any will do)and i add it to the watered down glue from step 4.

paint that on the tip of blade and on your glue drop parts from step 4.

and thats it.if you set up a wet pallet type plate you can do this in 3 minute's.just make sure you use waterd down glue and thin layers.i did these step's 1 time,but im sure you can make it look better with 2 trys.

well hope i helped some one.i will try to do some more tutorials with sculpting soon.

hey gang,

well have been trying to get my wolf lord finished so i can paint him.

just figured id get som w.i.p shots up to see what you think,the base

is almost finished.the deamon head is 100% sculpt and the flat part

of the base was made with super sculpty firm.i wish i would of waited

to paint it because i plan to give him the spear of russ held in power

fist.and as of right now i am running out of room.he has lots more detail

to be added to him.i am working on his spear and wolf cape right now.

i also am making a scaberd for his sword from scratch.the shoulder pads

were sculpted and then i made resin copys of them.chest plate and legs

are sculpted over marine parts.the hair on his head is sculpted and

on him because id like him to be a close image of russ but not him.

i will soon show more but this is the starting point.

i made this mini recently because i was bored and neede to add more stuff to the pile on my desk.i was trying to give a go at alot of cloth work and trying to make sherp edges.

i like this guy i think he will look great painted.im going to put him up for sale thou

and give it anouther shot.i think it came out nice but i should have made him bigger.next time i will use terminator parts and see how it turns out.

right now im just trying to get some feedback on some of my work.

just wanted to show a wolf lord i did to make some extra money for supplies.being a father i need to find ways to support my hobby.so here he is.and soon i will post the wolf lord for my army.

hello warp,

new to the site and just want to tell you a little about me.ive been in this hobby now for close to 5 years.i love 40k.i started as a warhammer fantacy player and then like most player or hobbyist neede to expand my range.so i fell in to 40k by just buying a commander box from my local hobby store.and the rest is a blur lol.

so now im a converting sculpting and painting machine.i spend as much time as i can doing something with this hobby,as long as my daughter has her own things to do.

on my blog i will post some of my work and some tutorials on things ive learned thru sculpting and converting.i also will post link's to things that have helped me and will hopefully help you.

if you ever need help feel free to ask me im always willing to help people.i hope tp learn some new things from you guys.anyhow im gonne get back to mt w.i.p wolf lord.i will post some pic's of him when i get him together.for now here's a few picture's of some work i did to pay for my daughters needs.
